Botox (Botulinum a) and Dysport (Botulinum a) are in the forefront of those treatments that can make a difference. By injecting a small amount of the Botulinum a toxin, you can soften the angry ” 11 ” lines between your eyebrows as well as soften the crows around your eyes.

But now, clinical trials are ongoing which allow the Botulinum toxin to be absorbed through the skin without the use of needles. The trials are only in their early stages….but eventually this may be a viable alternative to the injections. In all liklihood the topical application will need a Physician’s prescription and Physician monitoring. Nevertheless, the possibilities are exciting.

STEM CELL FACELIFT IN THE NEWS

Dr Wolin has been utilizing the patient’s own fat and stem cells to rejuvenate the face and improve the overall health of the facial skin for the past 15 years. He has found that by transferring stem cells as well as the fat, the loss in facial volume which occurs during normal ageing can be reversed.
