What is Zyderm® and Zyplast® Collagen?

It is a natural product derived from highly purified bovine collagen that is injected just below the surface of the skin to plump fine to deep wrinkles and the lip border. Collagen® can last three to six months. A skin test for allergy to bovine collagen is necessary 4 to 6 weeks before the actual injection can be done. Generally the newer injectable fillers have replaced bovine collagen.
